UNCERTAINLY

Do you remember

the things you were worrying about a year ago?

How did they work out?

Didn't you waste a lot of fruitless energy on account of most of them?

Didn't most of them turn out all right after all?

~Dale Carnegie

I am the queen of worry. I can worry for all of you.

I carry worry in an invisible backpack, sometimes so full I feel I'll fall backwards.

And when I stop and think about it, I realize all I have to do is confront the worry,

know I can not fix everything or everyone. I need to do what I can to remove

the problem I have - worry. No one gave me worry. I take it on.

Think about what Dale Carnegie says. Worry really doen't solve any thing or move us forward. Taking an action will be more helpful to me than the worry. What I

notice is if I do something active, finish a project, complete a task, say "no" to something my worry disappears. Amazing.

I suggest we read Dale Carnegie's quote once a week and make a pack to avoid worry and be active. Only for week. Let's be realistic. And let's hope one week will lead to another.

Let me know how you do. I am already imaging all the things I will get done.
