REALITY CHECK
IF WE ALL THREW OUR PROBLEMS IN A PILE
AND SAW EVERYONE ELSE'S, WE'D GRAB OURS BACK.
Regina Brett
Think on that one for awhile.
Oh, my problems are so great!
Really?
I have food, shelter, water, opportunity.
I have family and friends near and far.
I have freedom.
My problems?
I have to wait in a grocery line.
I am in traffic.
I drive an old clunker.
I don't like my job.
I'm afraid of change.
When we give ourselves a reality check,
our problems are not so very grand.
Make a list of your problems as you see them.
Be honest.
Now, look at the list and make another list of
one thing you can do to begin changing the problem
into an opportunity.
Keep the lists where you can see them each morning.
Make one change each day, a little one, to change that
problem. At the end of the day congratulate yourself
for your shift.
Fuel your fear and create your opportunities.
Please let me know what changes you have made.
